THINK ABOUT THIS...

Well, we are well into the first ever Power of ONE year and overall it seems to be going very well ( I hope you agree).  I thought TRIVIA DAY went well and it was enlightening for me to see what areas you are having trouble with and where you are strong, I hope it helped you learn more about your faith.

PLEASE BE SURE TO CHECK THE SCHEDULE (see below)FOR CHANGES WE DISCUSSED IN CLASS.  Be sure to note both DATE & TIME changes.

Session 5 is due February 1st....but make up sessions are due NOW (see below).

If you have not done your ADVENT SESSION...Please do it ASAP!!

TIME IS RUNNING OUT...If you have not COMPLETED Session 1, 2, 3 and 4 already...please do them ASAP ...before you are assigned an in-person make-up session(s).

Beth and I heard some great ideas and we really look forward to seeing all of your projects unfold.

Please go to "Session 3" on the right and click on

Remember to do ALL parts of the assignment.  Read the instructions carefully and answer ALL questions!!   
(this must be done by November 29th).
ALSO by December 12th (Next class) you must also finish the ADVENT session (this is an extra session but very important).

It was great to see all of you at our “in-person” meeting last Sunday.  I loved hearing all of you “brainstorming” about some possible Power of One projects. 

Remember to keep your appointment to meet with Beth or myself at the RECTORY on either Sunday afternoon Nov. 14^th or Monday evening Nov. 15^th.  If you have lost your appointment time, please call me…do not just show up or miss it !!!

Please be sure that your parent/adult sponsor comes with you and you have a plan…

                brief outline in writing... including what is your project about

                                                who will it benefit (person or organization)

                                                does it involve fundraising

                                                does it involve you doing a service

                                                how will you accomplish the task

                                    does it involve other organizations (ie parish,school,etc.)

                                    when will you start your project

                                    when will the project end

                                    do you need additional help/support (from who)

                                    anything else you can tell us about your project


 Now please go to “Session 2” on the right and click on “The Creed and Me” then follow the instructions on that page.

REMEMBER this assignment should be completed by November 7^th !!!!

WELCOME...

to your 10th grade year with the Annunciation community.
This year we will be exploring what your Catholic teachings have to do with YOUR "real life" and especially to YOUR "Power of One" project.

I am very excited about this new program and I hope that you will be too. The more you put into the "sessions" the more you will get out of them.

Please notice the "sessions" on the right of this page. You will be responsible for completing "Session 1" before our next meeting. Please note that "Session 1" has a part (A) and part (B).

To begin...find "Session 1" on the right and
click on the words "(A) ONE Spirit - Many Gifts (only ONE of ME)" this will take you to another page...follow the directions and complete the assignments. When you have completed that page, click your "backspace" key (or your back arrow at the top of your computer) and it should take you back to this page (Power of One).
Then complete the "(B) Power of Prayer" in the same way.

***These assignments must be completed and your comments posted (On the "Session pages" NOT on this page) by October 20th.***


The next in-person (student) meeting is Sunday, October 24th.
